MyWW Friendly Meal Plan 58

November 16, 2019 by Alisha Hughes 8 Comments

This week’s MyWW friendly meal plan is all about the satisfying comfort food! Warm hearty soups, slow cooker meals, plenty of meat, and even pasta are what this meal plan is all about! Recipes this week are Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup, Rotini Bean & Sausage Soup, Ham Pumpkin Pear Toasties, Rigatoni Meatball Soup, “Slaw”py Joe Sandwiches, and Sweet and Sour Meatball Stir Fry!

My first MyWW meal plan on Meal Planning Mommies!

This week’s meal plan gives MyWW green, blue, and purple points for all of the recipes! OH! And check out the printables…they look even more fun now in the bright new colors! I hope you enjoy them and that having the points for each plan is helpful to you this week!

Two things you should definitely know before using this meal plan:

About Meatballs and MyWW

Meatballs

I hope you don’t accidentally skip over this part, because it is kind of important.

There are two recipes in this meal plan that use meatballs. I did this on purpose. What you will find is that I tell you how to make the meatballs in both of the recipes in case you aren’t making the other recipe…BUT, I also designed it so that you only make the meatballs once. What this means is that if you make the meatballs for the Sweet and Sour Meatball Stir Fry, then you do not need to make them for the Rigatoni Meatball Soup and vice versa.

The other part to this is that if you only make one of the two recipes that use the meatballs, you will want to either divide the ingredients for the meatballs in half so you do not have extra, or freeze half of the meatballs and use them later. I hope all of that makes sense. If it doesn’t, please feel free to comment at the bottom of this post, and I will try to answer your questions as best I can.

MyWW

I have been sharing Weight Watchers recipes on here since Weight Watchers used to be called Weight Watchers!! (A long time.) Actually, when I got started (way back when) the points were called Points+, then they were called SmartPoints, and then FreeStyle SmartPoints, and now they are called MyWW Green Points, Blue Points, and Purple Points!

I’ll be honest, I actually get really excited when they change things up. It means more work updating as far as the blog goes, but I have never felt like they made a bad call when they have updated things. Every time there is a reason for it, and every time it makes sense to me. This update is no different.

Here’s why I think it is great this time.

I know I do better when I see that I get more points at the beginning of the day/week, so the green plan is actually the one I have been using, and I am loving it, but I totally get all of the people who say that the purple plan makes the most sense because they eat most of those foods anyway, and it means less tracking. I also understand why a person who had a lot of success on the FreeStyle plan would want to stick with it and use the blue plan. All of these are GREAT options, in my opinion.

For that reason, I will be slowly (but surely) updating things on the blog to reflect the new green, blue, and purple point values. Thank you for your patience with me on this one. There is a lot of content on this blog, and I am still doing school and working on my ebook, so this may take a little while, but I am plugging away at it.

Have I mentioned that I actually really enjoy this stuff? It’s true. You guys are totally worth it. I have been getting a lot of messages lately through comments, emails, and on Facebook, thanking me for what I do on here. I apologize if I have not responded yet, but I want you to know that I see your messages. I don’t say it enough on here, but I sense how grateful you are, it means a lot to me, and it truly brings me joy to serve you through this blog! Thank you!

Updated MyWW snack list too!

Some of the posts on Meal Planning Mommies that get the most hits are the list posts. People are always looking for yummy, low point restaurant, snack, and dessert ideas, especially. I have updated the snack list, and I am currently working on the restaurant list. You can go here, or click on the picture below to be taken to the updated MyWW Smart Snack list. I have even added some low point snack/lunch ideas that are perfect for the purple plan at the bottom of the post!!

I will be sharing more lists as they get updated on here, so you will know when they are done. For now, let’s get to this meal plan! Here is what I have for you today…

Thank you for the wonderful delicious sounding recipes ..
I haven’t been able to try any yet. But am anxious .
I am so happy to be back with more points in green.
23 points were too hard for me.
Sadly most of the meals on the WW app I’m not too wild about. But yours look normal and delicious and low in points. So happy I found you. Or you found me.

Thank you, Teri! I am glad we found each other too! 🙂 It sounds like you and I are in the same boat. I am grateful to be on the green plan for the same reason. It’s encouraging to start the day with more points in the app, isn’t it?

YES! Thank you for providing nutrition information for all three MYWW plans@ I have been following green since the info was leaked on the new plans and now I don’t have to figure out the Smartpoints on my own.
