Weight Watchers Friendly (and Gluten Free) Meal Plan #31 with FreeStyle Smart Points

August 12, 2017 by Alisha Hughes 6 Comments

Weight Watchers and gluten free meal plan

I am excited to tell you that I have finally gotten around to making a Weight Watcher friendly meal plan that is also a GLUTEN FREE meal plan! We have had lots of requests for this so I wanted to make it happen. This meal plan was designed with our GF friends in mind and I hope you love it!

How do I know if the recipes are gluten free or not?

The truth is I don’t always know. I mentioned this in my Chicken & Broccoli Teriyaki post yesterday, but I will mention it here as well, for those who missed it…

When I am not sure if something is gluten-free or not I ask my good friend, Sarah Anderson. Sarah is one of the co-founders of Meal Planning Mommies and she used to share her gluten-free recipes and meal plans on here not too long ago. We are still great friends and she still lets me bounce ideas off of her and I love her for that.

I have sent the recipes to this meal plan to Sarah so she could tell me if any of the ingredients had gluten. She has been on a gluten-free diet for years now, so she knows exactly what to look for. Sarah has given me the thumbs up on these recipes, but she did say to remind those who need to avoid gluten that is always a good idea to check the labels to make sure that the brands you are purchasing are gluten free.

MPM eCookbooks are now available for purchase!New Meal Planning Mommies store to buy eCookbooks

Did you notice our little “MPM Store” tab at the top of the home page? Many of you are already familiar with the new 4-week “Healthy & Happy Fan Favorites” eCookbook that we launched last month. We are planning to continue making new meal plan/ebooks as long as they are helpful to our readers and we were very happy with the feedback we received from our very first eBooks! Thank you!

A special “Thank YOU!” to our faithful Meal Planning Mommies readers:

To our faithful readers, I want to thank you so much for your patience with us as we established our new eBook layout/system over the series of several emails last month. We will not be doing that with each eBook in the future, but we felt it important to do with our very first one.

Moving forward, we will include an ebook version available for purchase with each meal plan we post, and we will add it our “MPM store” where you can purchase as many, or as few, as you like, but we will not send out a series of emails for each individual one we create.

Everything you need with one click.

To be honest, this is something I have been wanting to do for a VERY long time now, but could never seem to get around to it. I wanted for people to be able to click once and have everything they needed for a successful week of meal planning, through a downloadable eBook. We are still going to create the free meal plans (like this one!) where you can click to get to each recipe, but we will also offer the option to purchase the downloadable ebook version for $3.99 for those who would like to do that.

You may want to start a 3-Ring Binder.

If you plan to purchase more than one eBook you may want to start a 3 ring binder and use page protectors. While this is certainly not necessary, it will make it very easy to repeat your favorite weeks over and over again. Simply print the full eBook once and print the grocery list several times. Then you can slip the grocery lists all together in one page protector, so when it comes time to do the meal plan again you can grab a grocery list fast and head out the door.

Stay organized with our color-coding and labeling system.

Since the layout will be similar with each meal plan/eBook you may want to organize them in your binder as if they are all one book. For those of you who are planning to do that, we will be color coding each eBook to make it easy to tell each one apart and we will start labeling them. For instance, this week’s meal plan says, “August 2017” on it and uses orange as its main color. Our next meal plan eBook will say, “September 2017” and will have a different main color.

Purchase a gluten-free/Weight Watchers meal plan and ecookbook for $3.99

The eBook versions will also include a seventh recipe to complete your week. This week’s eBook meal plan has our newest recipe, “Chicken & Broccoli Teriyaki” added to it as a bonus recipe.

Everything about this new system will make you feel in control of your meal planning, and who doesn’t want that? I love when things are easy, efficient, and organized, and I think we have finally created a system that will do all those things and more. To order this week’s meal plan as an ebook, you can do that here. To print off the free version of the meal plan page and grocery list scroll to the bottom of this post, as you normally would.

Here are the recipes you will find in this week’s meal plan…

Makes 5 servings
2 WW FreeStyle SP per serving

Sweet and Sour Pork and Pineapple Kabobs

This week’s grocery list.

Click on the grocery list pictured below for a printable PDF of this week’s grocery list that you can print off and take to the store with you. Numbers in (parenthesis) next to the ingredient match up with the number of the recipe in the lower right corner. If you don’t want to do a recipe you can simply cross off the ingredients with that number next to them.

Or purchase the eBook version here.

If you have any questions about our new system please don’t hesitate to drop us a message! And, as always, thanks for being awesome!
