Frugal Table Meal Plan and Grocery List (each meal serves a family of 4)
Monday: Maid Rites and steamed broccoli
1 lb ground beef or turkey (or 2 lb depending on your family size), 1 med. onion, mustard, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt and pepper and buns.
Broccoli
Tuesday: Chicken Tetrazzini and rolls
7 oz cooked spaghetti, 2 cups sour cream, 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 3 cups cooked chicken (about 1 1/4 lb), parmesan cheese, 1 stick butter
Rolls
Your choice of veggie
Wednesday: Chicken Cranberry Walnut Salad
2 cups cooked chicken (use extra from Tuesday!), Dried Cranberries, Walnuts, Feta Cheese, Spinach leaves or Spring Mix Salad, 1 can mandarin oranges, Raspberry Vinagerette Dressing.
*If quantity is not indicated, you can use as much or little as you would like for your family
Thursday: Salmon Patties and Couscous
Milk, dill weed, saltine crackers, 2 cans of pink salmon (boneless and skinless) 1 egg
Couscous (when looking in your store, look by the rice)
Your choice of veggie
Friday: Beef Chimichangas and Rice (this recipe makes 16 chimichangas… trust me, you will want extras to freeze and pull out for a quick lunch later!)
1 lb ground beef, 1 16 oz jar salsa (or picante), 16 oz refried beans, 1 package taco seasoning, 16 – 8 inch flour tortillas, 1 lb shredded Montery Jack or Shredded Cheddar Cheese, oil (for frying)

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.!
