Snack Time Sanity Saver

Free Snack Menu Printable

Confession: little ones asking every 15 minutes for a snack can tend to drive me bonkers!

A year or so ago I came up with a free printable snack menu. Bright Idea, Right???

I don’t know if you are like me, but I get great ideas that help tremendously, but then I just stop using it. I don’t know why I stopped using the snack menu. Maybe it got taken off the fridge and lost, but over time the “What can I have for snack?” question from my kids began to drive me a little crazy again. I was about to get on pinterest and look for an idea to make snack time a little less crazy.

“But, wait a minute! Didn’t I already create a system for snacks that worked beautifully?!”

Yup. So here I am a year later, printing off another snack menu.

This time, I will make sure it doesn’t get taken off the fridge and thrown away. This time, I laminated my snack time sanity saver.

I printed both of the snack menu options: one with snacks listed and one with a blank snack menu. I took both of them, back to back, and laminated it as a whole sheet. Then I took little magnet pieces, cut them up, and put some in the corners on both sides. I grabbed a magnetic dry erase marker and stuck it next to the menu on the fridge.

Now I can easily use the pre-snack menu for my kids (and me!) with HEALTHY food choices listed.

If I use the one pictured below, that has the snacks already listed, I just use the dry erase marker to cross off items that are “out of stock” in our home. I also add items with the dry erase marker.

Easy peasy!

When you want to make your own snack menu, just flip the laminated sheet over and you have a blank slate to create your own snack menu!
