This week I have quite a variation of meals for you. Our family is going through a process of phasing out certain foods from our diet. After reading about the Feingold diet and realizing how much preservatives, additives and food colorings can affect you and your children’s behavior, we decided to get rid of as much of those things as we can! Yesterday, I went with Meal Planning Mommy, Katie to a Whole Foods store. She is teaching me how to cook based on whole foods instead of boxed, canned or already prepared food.
This week is not a completely Whole foods Meal Plan, but we are getting there!
Monday: Baked Chicken Penne w/ bread and salad (This is a summer favorite of mine!)
Tuesday: Crock Pot Pulled Pork Sandwiches with steamed veggies and fruit
Wednesday: Homemade or frozen pizza with salad or frozen veggies
Thursday: Crunchy Tuna bites with carrots (My toddlers LOVED these!)
Friday: Chicken packets, scalloped corn and chopped salad (These are great to freeze!)
