Have you ever used Bragg Organic Herb and Spices seasoning before?
Today’s salmon and asparagus recipe is all about the seasoning so I am going to take a minute to explain why I am suggesting a very specific mixture for this recipe.
Bragg Organic Sprinkle takes seasoning to a whole different level. It’s packed with lots of organic good-for-you stuff and it tastes great on just about everything. When you sprinkle Bragg herbs and seasoning on your foods, you are adding all of the ingredients listed in the picture below…
You can use Bragg Sprinkle to add flavor to salads, veggies, fish, poultry, rice and beans, sauces, soups, casseroles, stir fry dishes, and a whole lot more.
Where I learned about Bragg seasoning.
I learned about this seasoning from a boss I had several years ago. Gregg was the kind of guy who could literally eat the same thing every day and be happy… and that is just what he did! Every single day for lunch, he ate a BIG bowl of chopped vegetables that were sprinkled with Bragg seasoning.
One day Gregg was eating his lunch in his office. Everyone could hear him crunching on his veggies outside of his office and one of my coworkers teased him saying, “We always know when Gregg is eating his lunch!” He chuckled and said, “My kids make fun of me too. I tell them that healthy food is loud food,” and then he went on to explain how vegetables crunch but a lot of unhealthy foods don’t. I mean, he wasn’t completely wrong! It makes me smile now just thinking about it. He was a smart man with a good sense of humor and I was grateful to have him for a boss when I did.
Today, we will be using Gregg’s famous “Bragg Sprinkle” to add flavor to salmon and asparagus, along with a couple of other simple ingredients listed below… (I forgot to take a picture of the ingredients like I normally do and had to get creative. That honey and lemon sure are pretty though, aren’t they? Thank you, Canva.com!)
