Yogurt Bites

May 2, 2015 by Alisha Hughes

Are you looking for a healthy snack that your little ones will actually be excited to eat? Yogurt bites just might be your answer! 🙂 I love this great snack idea for kids. They are incredibly easy to make and super fun to eat. Best of all, you only need one ingredient: YOGURT!

These are a great “gotta grab a snack in a hurry” kind of treat, but they are also like a dessert, making them a very useful snack to have in the house.

So, here is what you are going to need:
1. Yogurt.
2. Ziploc baggie.
3. A freezer.

Here is what you do:

Put the yogurt into the baggie and push the yogurt down to the corner of the bag. Clip a small hole in the corner of the bag. Plop little dots of yogurt onto a cookie sheet. (I put parchment paper down first to make it easy to pop the yogurt bites off of the cookie sheet after they freeze)

Put the yogurt bites in the freezer for about an hour.

When they are frozen, put them in a bowl and serve.

If you are not serving them right away, or if you just aren’t going to eat them all at one time, you can just put your cute little frozen yogurt bites into a clean Ziploc bag and save them for later.

Another great idea is to make these with blueberries in the middle! Corey, at Family Fresh Meals made hers this way, and I thought it was just great, don’t you?

Okay, one last thing. So my nine year old knows that I am back into blogging again and excited about it. I told him that he was my taste tester and I was going to take a picture of his reaction to this delicious snack. He agreed and was eager to be a part of the fun. His reaction: he yelled “THESE ARE SO GOOD!” and as he is saying it, he is making this face:

WOW! I couldn’t help but laugh. Not quite the look I was going for. 🙂 Oh well. We’ll try again next time. All three of my children enjoyed these. You’ll just have to take my word for it. 😉
