Smart Breakfast Combination Ideas for 6 Smart Points of less-Meal Planning Mommies

*This post has been updated to reflect WW FreeStyle Smart Points! Updates in red font.

What are you eating for breakfast tomorrow? Is it the same thing you eat everyday?

Maybe you are like me and you sometimes get into a “breakfast rut”.  This is especially easy to do if you are new to Weight Watchers and you find one thing that you know works for you. You can’t go wrong with a hard-boiled egg, right? I got tired of hard-boiled eggs, though, and now one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast is an egg roll. I know. . . I’m weird. My favorite egg rolls are the Pagoda Pork & Shrimp egg rolls.  They are seriously so yummy. One egg roll is 5 Weight Watcher smart points and I can zap it in the microwave for one minute and be on my way, so it is an easy choice that I keep going back to on the mornings when I need to rush off to work.

There is nothing wrong with having an egg roll for breakfast everyday, in my opinion, but I wanted to stretch myself and change things up so I started to make this list of things I wanted to try, or already did try, that are low in Weight Watcher smart points. If you are looking for some new ideas for breakfast this list that may help you too.

I have put together 20 combinations of breakfast foods that go well together to give you lots of options. Most of these combinations have a protein (meat or egg usually) in them to fuel you up and keep you going for a while, but I also added some other common breakfast foods (like waffles, bagels, granola bars, and cereal) that I thought you might like as well. All of these breakfast combinations total less than 6 Weight Watcher smart points each. Have fun and mix them up if you want. I included the smart points for each individual food to make it easy for you.

I hope you like some of these things on the list and that they make your morning routine a cinch.

I love your site! I am just starting with WW SP and was desperately needing some meal ideas. I printed out the 14 weeks of menu ideas for dinner. I love the breakfast combinations with pictures but was hoping for something printable with pictures like on your weekly meal plans. I’m getting ready to check out the lunches and snacks next. I’m excited now because I was needing inspiration and think I have found it in your site. I’m curious, I haven’t found on your site how your WW journey is going. I would love to hear.

Hi Lynn! Thank you. I was actually going to make printables with the breakfast post and never got around to it so I am glad you reminded me. I have updated this post to include printable PDF’s with images and w/out images. I have not posted my update on my journey since February. (wow, that’s a long time) I really have not steadily lost weight for a few months now, so that it probably why I have not posted my update in a while. I am making good eating choices followed by bad ones and somehow they are cancelling each other out. I feel like I know all the right answers but I have a hard time getting myself to stay consistent in doing the things I know I should be doing. If I am going to really get back to losing weight I am going to have to commit to it more than I am right now. Sorry. I know that is not inspiring, but just being honest. Thanks for asking.

I want you both to know that I appreciate all of your hard work. You are helping me plan my weeks and succeed even when I don’t really feel like working the plan.
Your recipes are so good and they’re a hit with the family that really doesn’t want to do a “weight loss” thing but needs to.
Thank you for all that you do.
