Need a Simple dinner for a busy night?
I have just the recipe for you!
This recipe is not rocket science and I know that you have probably even made it before many times! I have looked at several recipes and have made up my own based on what I like. My point in posting this super easy recipe is to remind you that sometimes the easiest things are what your kiddos love!
My kids sure LOVE this meal!
So the next time that you feel yourself panicking about what to fix for dinner make french toast!
Here is what you need:
4 eggs
1 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
12 pieces of bread (make sure to use gluten free bread when making a gluten free version)
Syrup, fruit or powdered sugar to serve
Butter to grease pan
Here is what you do:
Step 1: Preheat griddle to 300 degrees or large skillet.
Step 2: Mix all ingredients except for bread in a medium sized bowl.
Step 3: Grease griddle or skillet with butter.
Step 4: Dip both sides of the bread in the egg mixture and place on the greased pan.
Step 5: Brown one side of the bread and then flip
Step 6: When both sides are browned, they are done.
Step 7: Top with syrup, fruit or powdered sugar and serve!
*If you want to double or triple this recipe, then you can freeze extras for quick and easy breakfasts!
