I am so excited for this meal plan! I have a few unique things on the list and truly hope your family will enjoy one, or several of the meals. Remember, meal planning is meant to help you enjoy dinner time! Pick recipes that suit your family’s schedule this week!

Frugal Table Meal Plan
Monday- Kid Friendly Egg Salad with crunchy apples
Tuesday- Bubble Pizza
Wednesday- Chop Salad w/ Feta Cheese and Avocado
Thursday- Open Faced Tacos (so much fun!)
Friday- Reuben Chicken with Steamed Veggies
Saturday- Salmon Patties
Sunday- Baked Pasta in a Cream Sauce with Broccoli and Chicken
Frugal Table Grocery List (*Each meal serves 4, unless otherwise noted):
Monday- Kid Friendly Egg Salad w/ crunchy apples
8 eggs
8 pieces of bread
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Sugar
Salt/Pepper
Green Olives (optional.. but sooo good!)
Relish/pickles (optional)
Tomato (optional)
Apples
Tuesday- Bubble Pizza
2 cans of buttermilk biscuits (they come in a pack of 4)
1 jar of pizza sauce
2 cups cheese (your choice!)
Toppings: Sausage, hamburger, pepperoni, bacon, veggies. Choose whatever makes your mouth water and your tummy smile!
Wednesday- Chop Salad w/ Feta Cheese and Avocado
Lettuce (Iceberg or Romaine, enough for 4)
Feta Cheese
Avocado
Toppings: tomato, black olives, croutons, bacon bits, cucumber, carrots
Once again… what is your tummy saying? We used all of these toppings and it turned out great!
You could also add some protein with: Hard boiled eggs, chicken, black beans
Dressing: Ranch (or whatever your family likes!)
Thursday-Open Faced Tacos
8 hard taco shells
Refried Beans
1 lb hamburger
Taco Seasoning
Shredded cheese (1 cup or MORE!)
Shredded lettuce
Tomato
Sour Cream
Salsa
Friday- Reuben Chicken with steamed veggies
1 lb chicken or 4 boneless chicken breasts
1 16 oz. canned sauerkraut
4 slices swiss cheese
1 cup Thousand Island salad dressing
Veggie of your choice
Saturday- Salmon Patties with Couscous
2 cans pink salmon (Absolutely make sure to buy the BONELESS AND SKINLESS)
Saltines
Dill Weed
1 egg
Salt and Pepper
milk
1 box couscous
Sunday- Baked Pasta in a Cream Sauce with broccoli and chicken
1 box pasta
*Kid Friendly tip: Choose a pasta in a fun shape to make your kids more interested! Bows, alphabet, spirals, mixed colored
1 TB cornstarch
Milk
1/2 c. Sour Cream
Broccoli (Mushrooms or spinach would work as well)
Chicken (optional- if you want to make this a meatless meal to keep it frugal that works as well!)
Garlic Bread
