Plan to Eat Online Meal Planning System Giveaway 2018

December 1, 2018 by Alisha Hughes 10 Comments

Update: This giveaway has ended. Congratulations Linda T.

We are kicking off our “12 Days of Christmas giveaways” series with one of my favorite meal planning tools! Allow me to introduce you to today’s giveaway with this 1-minute introduction video…

Plan to Eat does all these things and more…

  • Puts all your recipes (can be from online, a cookbook, your special stash, or recipes from friends) in one place
  • Allows you to easily drag-and-drop your recipes over to your meal plan calendar
  • Automatically creates an easy-to-use grocery list for you
  • Gives you access to your grocery list from your mobile device while you are in the store!

Bing, bang, boom… here is what you do…

First, you plug in your recipes to PlanToEat.com (more on how to do this in a minute), and they get stored in a way that allows you to see them all in one place, so you can go from this:

to this:

You probably already have several recipes you know your family loves. Plan To Eat allows you to easily get them all in one place!

Let me tell you my favorite part of the whole process (this is the part that I thought was so incredibly smart it blew my mind): You can add your recipes straight from a recipe site (like Meal Planning Mommies), or you can copy and paste the ingredients and directions (which still just takes less than a minute).

So, for instance, let’s say I want to use one of my new favorite MPM recipes, the Crispy Chicken with Sun-dried Tomato Sauce, in my next meal plan. I can go to the URL where that recipe is and click “Add to PTE,” and it automatically drops that recipe, the picture that’s with it, the nutrition facts, and any other information that is with the recipe into the Plan to Eat recipe format all with one click, like this:

Isn’t that beautiful? And easy? And smart? I actually paid my son to upload and save ALL of the MPM recipes from 2018 for me and he was able to put all of them on there in less than an hour! (Thanks Preston!!! Love you buddy!)

All the recipes you love, from all over online, all in one easy-to-get-to place!

Plus, if you “friend” Meal Planning Mommies, you will have access to all of the recipes that we have already saved on our Plan to Eat account. That means you can skip that last step to get to our recipes. The bonus here is that you can use Plan to Eat with any recipe blogs you love, so it is not limited to just Meal Planning Mommies! Put all of your favorite recipes from all over online in one place. Does that sound like a dream, or what?

Next you drag and drop your recipes into your calendar.

Once you have all your recipes entered, you can play around with dragging the recipes over to the meal planning calendar wherever you like them. Plan one week, one month, or however long you like.

Plan to Eat will automatically take the ingredients from those meals on your meal planner and put them onto your next grocery list (maybe that is my favorite part, come to think about it). You can print the grocery list, or you can view it from your phone in the store.

When you are using the Plan to Eat app, you can just click on the box next to the ingredient when you drop it in your shopping cart, and it will take that ingredient off the list for you.

Plan to Eat has, quite literally, thought of everything. Check out this 6 minute video to get a more detailed idea of how Plan to Eat works:

One more thing…  The Plan to Eat iPhone and Android apps were released this year. That means you can do everything easily straight from your iPhone without needing to use a computer or laptop. Here is a short video that walks you through how to do this, or you can read more about it here:

Want to sign up right away?

I don’t blame you if you want to jump right on this. I know I did too. One person is going to win one full year subscription to Plan to Eat, but everyone can try out Plan to Eat for one month for free! No strings attached. They won’t even ask you for your credit card number! Just create a log-in and play around so you can see if this system would be helpful to you.

If you choose to continue to use Plan to Eat after the 30 day trial, you can purchase a subscription for $4.95 a month or for just $39 a year!!! Isn’t that a great deal!? That is less than $40 to make your meal planning and grocery shopping a breeze for a whole year!

50% off Holiday Sale with Plan to Eat!

I have one even better, though! Today and tomorrow only you can get a yearly subscription for half off!! That means, one whole year of using Plan to Eat for just $19.50! They only do this 50% off sale once a year… and this is why I chose to do this giveaway first!

Hi Laura, I know meal planning and cooking for two people can be challenging. You are not alone. Not sure if this will help or not, but I have created an ebook specifically for people who feed 1-2 people when they cook dinner. You can check out our Table for Two ebook here: http://mealplanningmommies.com//table-for-two-meal-planning-ecookbook/

OH! One more thing: I have a list of WW recipes that are 1-2 servings here: http://mealplanningmommies.com//ww-friendly-recipes-that-make-1-2-servings/. Because these recipe are all online, you could easily plug them into your Plan to Eat account and make meal plans out of them. Just another thought. Hope these help. Have a great day!
