“Meal Planning Mommy Land”

Thank you to those of you who have been concerned and missing our posts! It is nice to get positive comments from our readers who really do enjoy our blog.

Would you believe that all 3 of us are pregnant at the same time?! We have a mommy in 1st trimester, one in 2nd and one in 3rd. Not to mention the fact that we already each have 1 or 2 toddlers we are chasing after! I am sure you can imagine the exhaustion, sickness, and overwhelmed feeling we are all 3 going through at the same time!

We absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE doing our blog and do not want to stop posting completely. Over the next few weeks there will not be any new posts until we are feeling up to cooking, posting and spending time online again.

BUT that doesn’t mean you should stop visiting our blog! Would you believe that we have posted over 344 times since August of last year? There are around 30 different meal plans (approx. 200 different recipes) archived on this blog for you to re-use over and over! Not to mention all the bonus recipes and feature weeks.

We have some great recipes, freezer meals and lots of great ideas for the future of our blog. Stick with us, readers! Keep checking back, you never know when something new might pop up!

Until that time… keep using our recipes, e-mailing us, and praying for the new additions to our families!

kudos to each of you, for doing all that you do PLUS the blogging ya’ll have been doing. Enjoy a bit of rest (or at least, from blogging), and make your husbands cook a few meals (you’ll probably have to force us).

I love your blog and all of your meal ideas!! I’m so glad you are still posting. I also know how it feels to be pregnant (30 weeks along), chase two other kids around, and still try to keep up on the blog. Good luck with all of your pregnancies!

Be sure to check out our blog, we gave you a nice surprise on there 🙂

You do realize some women manage to work full time AND cook while pregnant? And some of them have other kids, too! How hard is it to toss cream of mushroom soup into the crockpot with some random other crap and call it a “meal”? Crystal Paine (Money Saving Mom) is 40+ weeks pregnant with 2 little girls, is still blogging, still twittering AND still cooking.

You are an embarrassment to working mothers, and women in general.

wow. just….wow. The nice thing about blogs is they are passive forms of entertainment/connecting/communicating. If you decide you’re not a fan…you can stop reading.

If you need help, let someone know. But maybe you need attention more than help. Hopefully you get whatever it is you need.

These women are no where near embarrassments to humanity or their gender. You could learn plenty from them yourself if you took your foot out of your mouth.

    Aimee,

We are choosing to take a break not because we HAVE to due to inability to multitask, but because we are using wisdom and doing what is best for our families. We said we are not blogging, we never said we are not caring for our families during our pregnancies. That was an assumption that you drew incorrectly. We are taking a break because we do not see hobbies such as blogging and twittering as having any impact on our worth as women, mothers, and human beings. We are women who are not only active in our families, but within our communities, churches, friendships, and globally. We are also all women who have very active lives and have done tremendous things with them that are in our opinion far more engaging, interesting, and lasting that a few minutes in the evening slapping pictures and recipes of our dinner meals online. If anything is an insult to women everywhere it is a woman who is quick to judge and lacking compassion.

I love your blog and applaud you for doing what is best for you and your family…isn’t it funny that miss aimee has marked her blog as private. the “bold” ones tend to not be so bold after all. i guess they can dish it but not take it. y’all keep doing your thing and we will be waiting for you when you get back to blogland!
