Crockpot Beef Stroganoff

May 11, 2015 by Alisha Hughes

4 ing. crockpot beef stroganoff

This beef recipe is so easy you are going to feel like you are cheating. My friend came over a while back and said to me, “I made this great recipe that is so easy. You have to try it sometime.” She told me the ingredients (3 packets and some meat) and I thought, “Oooo…that sounds easy… I need to try that one!” I wrote down the ingredients and tossed it in my recipe binder.

Fast forward several months. We were having a group of about 13 people over and I was going to be making the main entree. When I was trying to think of what I could make that wouldn’t take a lot of prep time, but would be able to satisfy all the guests I found my little note and was excited to give it a try. Can I just tell you that this makes a LOT of meat! 🙂 Everyone ate until they were full and we still had leftovers to eat for lunches throughout the week.

If you are looking to feed a crowd, you might want to try out this crowd pleaser!

Ingredients:

2-3 lbs. Sirloin beef
1 packet Italian seasoning
1 packet Brown Gravy mix
1 packet dry Ranch mix
egg noodles
1-2 cups water, depending on the size of the meat.

It really is as simple as this:

Put your meat in the crockpot. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, gravy mix, and Ranch seasoning over the meat. Pour water over all of it and mix it up a bit. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

When cooked, shred the meat in the sauce and serve over cooked egg noodles.

And there you have it. Nothing to it! 🙂
