Catalina Taco Turkey Lettuce Wraps/Burgers

August 24, 2018 by Alisha Hughes Leave a Comment

Delicious Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps using Catalina (French) Salad dressing - Just 6 WW FreeStyle SmartPoints per generous lettuce wrap.

Sweet Catalina dressing drizzled over a taco turkey burger, served on a bed of lettuce, and topped with crispy onions, fresh tomatoes, and a little cheese… YUM, right?!  These Catalina Taco Lettuce Wraps are a perfect combination of sweet, spice, crunch, and delicious flavor and I just can’t wait for you to try them! 🙂

There are a couple of different ways you can prepare and serve this recipe…

Change it up by turning the lettuce wrap into a burger or salad instead.

One alternative way to serve these lettuce wraps is to swap out the bed of lettuce for a light hamburger bun. Click here for a list of low Smart Point breads and buns that are 1-2 WW SP each.

Is eating with a fork your thing? No problem. Lettuce wraps can be a little messy sometimes, especially for little ones. Another way to serve this recipe would be to serve it as a salad. Simply double up or triple the amount of lettuce, chop up the ingredients, toss it all together, and Walah! … Salad! 🙂

About the Catalina Salad Dressing.

Catalina dressing is a big part of what makes these burger lettuce wraps so yummy. You can use any light Catalina salad dressing, but the one I used was this Kraft Lite Catalina Dressing.

Catalina dressing is very similar to French dressing and Western dressing, so you could substitute out the Catalina Salad dressing for either of those with similar results.

Regardless of how you choose to plate this recipe or what brand of dressing you choose to use, I think you will be pleased with how well the ingredients go together. It’s delish! 🙂
