Freezer friendly Crockpot meal: Teriyaki Chicken

May 1, 2015 by Alisha Hughes Leave a Comment

Five ingredients and five minutes is all this one takes. Two reasons this is a great recipe:
1. It is a freezer meal (put the ingredients in a bag and freeze it) and
2. It is a crockpot meal (put the ingredients in a crockpot and the crockpot does the cooking for you)

You will love this freezer friendly crockpot teriyaki chicken!

Here are the ingredients to put in your Ziploc freezer bag:

IMG_0756

  • 3 chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 cup Teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • a few sprinkles of ginger

When it is time to cook:
Thaw the chicken and cook in the crock-pot on low for 4-6 hours
In an effort to keep this dinner as simple and efficient as possible we served ours with Uncle Ben’s whole grain brown rice that could be cooked in 90 seconds in your microwave.
