My friend, Claire, over at Mummy Deals, made a vlog showing how to make your own dishwashing detergent. I wanted to share this, because part of the complaint in meal planning, as opposed to eating out, is that you have to do the dishes afterward. :0) Here is a super cheap way to make dishwashing detergent. Check out Mummy Deals’ post if you are interested in viewing her vlog, where you can watch her make the detergent.

I make my own laundry detergent and we love it and it’s so cheap… about 2 cents per load…. I guess I will have to give this a try…

Me to Julie. I am wondering if you could omit the Borax and use Arm and Hammer Washing Soda instead. In our detergent we do not use borax and I prefer it this way. Washing soda works great…if anyone tries this let me know! Thanks Alisha and Mummy deals…we will be putting this together as soon as we run out of the 7th generation detergent that we scored on MEGA deals at Toys R Us last week!!!!
