3-Station Slow Cooker Buffet

December 9, 2018 by Alisha Hughes 11 Comments

This giveaway has ended. Congratulations Danyetta B.

HomeCraft TSC25 3-Station 2.5-Quart Round Slow Cooker Buffet

With today’s giveaway you can simultaneously slow cook and serve a delicious side dish, entree and dessert in each of the three ceramic cooking pots to deliver a complete meal or serve three different sides/appetizers when entertaining. Each ceramic pot has its own adjustable thermostat and the clear tempered glass lids allow for easy viewing. The built-in lid rests keep countertops clear, while cool-touch knobs and handles make it easy to transport!

My experience.

Last year we were able to get a triple slow cooker during the Black Friday sales and we love it. As soon I tried it I said, “Oh! We have to use this in next year’s giveaway!” And here we are…

I have loved that I can cook foods in the slow cookers and then switch to the warm setting until it is time to serve the guests. You know when you have people coming over, but they don’t all get to the gathering at the same time? With the triple slow cooker you can keep the food warm so even those who are late (that’s always me) still get to have nice warm food when they get there.

Sometimes I even cook a food on the stove-top ahead of time and put it in the slow cooker set to warm. That way my timing doesn’t have to be perfect. The ceramic slow cookers work great- just like any larger slow cooker would- but they are smaller, making them perfect for entertaining.

Perfect for entertaining for the Holidays!

Just in time for Christmas. What kinds of things could you put in these slow cookers that you would love to keep warm? Here are just a few ideas:

  • Make mashed potatoes ahead of time and keep it warm.
  • Make stuffing ahead of time and keep it warm.
  • Mini wienies in BBQ sauce.
  • BBQ meatballs.
  • Swedish meatballs.
  • Carrots.
  • Sweet potatoes.
  • Baked beans.
  • Canned vegetables.
  • Make a fondue bar. (Chocolate, cheese, or both)

Nacho/Taco Bar:
An example of something I have done in the past.

I offered to make food for a teen gathering at our church this past year. After brainstorming a little bit I decided to make a nacho/taco bar. I used one slow cooker to make cheese dip (Velveeta with Rotel), I heated up beans in another, and I cooked taco meat on the stove-top and put in the last one to keep it warm. Do you want to do a nacho bar too? Here are a few ideas to consider:

Ideas for a Taco/Nacho Bar.

Here are a few warm ideas:

  • Taco meat
  • Shredded chicken with salsa
  • Beans (refried, black, or kidney)
  • Cheese dip
  • Corn, grilled ahead of time and kept warm
  • Rice made ahead of time and kept warm (add a little extra water so it does not dry out)

Plus, you can have cool foods sitting out in bowls. Here are some ideas:

  • Shredded lettuce
  • Shredded cheese
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Guacamole
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa
  • Salsa verde

And don’t forget tortillas and/or tortilla chips. You could even do bags of chips (fritos, doritos, etc.) and let the guests make “walking tacos”.

What we love about our triple cooker:

  • The 3 (2.5-quart) ceramic cooking pots have spoon rests and remove from the base for easy cleanup, just like you are accustomed to with a larger slow cooker.

  • There is an individual thermostat for each cooking pot. (Keep one warm while you set another to low or high, for example) You can set each one individually to off, low, high, or warm.

  • Clear tempered glass lids for easy viewing and cool-touch knobs and handles, so the guests don’t get hurt when they try to move the lids, and so you don’t get hurt when you transfer it from one place to another after it has been hot for a while.
  • The built-in lid rests help to minimize countertop clutter (So smart!) Plus, the lid rests can be taken out when you are trying to store everything.

  • Stylish copper accents – So pretty!

This would be the best solution for all my holiday events. Currently use 4 separate crock pots on the table. They take up too much room so had to go with 2 tables for the buffet. If I had a 3 in 1 slow cookers I would be able to go back to one table. It would also be much more attractive on my table.

We do a ton of potlucks where I work. I would probably do Swedish Meatballs, spinach/artichoke dip, and a dipping cheese.
