Ingredients
1pound98% fat-free ground chicken
3tablespoonsketchup
1tablespoonsoy sauce
1tablespoonhoney
1teaspoonchili powder
1teaspoonfresh ground or minced ginger
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
Cooking spray
4light buns
1/2avocado,thinly sliced (optional topping)
1/2red onion,thinly sliced (optional topping)
Spinach(optional topping)
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken, ketchup, soy sauce, honey, chili powder, ginger, and garlic powder.
Form chicken mixture into 4 equal sized patties, about 1/2 cup each.
Spray grill pan or skillet with cooking spray and set over medium to medium-high heat. Cook chicken patties for 6-8 minutes on both sides, or until the chicken patties are fully cooked.
Place one chicken patty on the bottom of each bun. Top with optional toppings: avocado, red onion, and spinach.
